Here we are today with another exciting review of our most awaited (as usual), January BarkBox for Large Dog review. If you are new here, you probably aren’t quite sure yet about what a BarkBox is. To get it across in a nutshell for you, BarkBox is a monthly subscription for dogs that allows owners to welcome home fun filled dog goodies. The subscription can be chosen to a set price and to suit your dog needs- small dog, medium dog or large dog. This ensures that the products shipped each month match your expectation (and your dog’s mostly). BarkBox ships to the USA and Canada; moreover, the products shipped are manufactured in either of these countries alone.
Each month’ BarkBox contains 2 bag of treats, 2 toys and 1 edible dog chew. Also, another fun yet adorable factor is; every month’s products revolve around a theme. January’s theme was ‘Pup In The Air’, and we absolutely loved it! With a cute puppy passport and travel themed toys, this January’s BarkBox was a success at our home.
The first bag of treats this month is Wafflers with Real Bacon and Molasses. It was so cool to add the heavy duty suitcase image on the treat’s pack. Keeping up with the theme is such a good thought. The treats a waffle shaped and that’s satisfying for Rover. Initially we were hesitant in giving Rover bacon flavored treats, but after he turned 2 we have been getting him used to it, which he completely approves of for all tasty reasons. He loved these treats (no doubt). Rover gets these when he is training in the evening or during his playtime as a reward.
The edible dog chew for this month is a Butcher’s Beef Knuckle Slice Bone. Rover is a slightly distracted boy. The very sight of this made his crazy, but the excitement did not last for long. Luckily, he is not much of a chewer, hence this did not hold his attention for long. He goes to the chew whenever he is at play or bored.
The second toy Ripley’s Rucksack, with a squeaky ball wrapped inside. We have been using this to play fetch with Rover and he does not seem to mind it at all. As long as a treat await him at the end of it all, our big guy is willing to adapt to any change made. Again, Woila has been kept away from this toy for good intentions.
