We are so excited to share our very first BarkBox review. This was our first BarkBox, and we absolutely loved it. Being newbies to the BarkBox Subscription, we did face a certain amount of dilemma on how our dearest furry children will adapt to the goodies. Thankfully, it all turned out well and we are glad to tell there is going to be no turning back.
BarkBox is a monthly subscription plan for dogs and they send you a shoebox sized parcel filled with dog goodies; treats, toys, grooming products and chew. We have read plentiful reviews before subscribing and had a fair idea of how this works. Not to deny, we were pretty much excited about the theme of the month and it blew us away! At our home, we subscribe for the BarkBox Subscription for Small and Large Dogs. Our 7 year old big boy Ross is a Dalmatian, and our little guy Fred, aged 1, is a pug. The uncommon choice of dog breeds we have at home lifts the air and never fails to keep us entertained. We are extremely careful about what we feed our dogs, and BarkBox has eased our fears with the qualitative package sent. There is also some amount of relief to know that all products sent are made in either the USA or Canada (and BarkBox ships to these countries only); to set aside doubts on acclimatization or risking an allergy.
Pipsqueak Pup Chicken Jerky was the first bag Fred went hyper over. So we let him try it. This was soft, easy to tear into smaller portions and has a healthy combination of chicken, sweet potatoes, kale, and cranberries. Fred gobbled it down in no time!
Nature’s Bits Turpumpkin Treats was the second bag of treats, which was also a hit. The turkey and pumpkin combination gave Fred the satisfaction of having shared in our Thanksgiving meal. He gets to have these soft and chewy cookies post training sessions. Fred isn’t quite fond of training, but has been deliberating obedient for the sake of these!
Fred loved both the toys and we did too! The first toy is apron like, with squeaker and ropes. He adores this new gift so much that he uses it as a head rest. The second toy is a plush turkey and how adorable it looks! This Thanksgiving turkey is suffering a bit of ordeal amidst our 2 dogs. We are surprised that it is intact still. Probably our dogs are being delicate or the plush is durable indeed.
The last item on the list least intrigued the dogs, but we went bonkers over them. Poop bags with poop poetry! How cool can that be? This roll of biodegradable poop bag lasts over a month. It has funny poop sayings that will sure enough lighten the mood when one runs out of patience to clean behind a dog.
