It is good to be back with a great month of BarkBox times. BarkBox has been the most anticipated parcel at home, and this month we are back to share with you the review of Super Chewer BarkBox for Large Dog, September 2017.
We are a regular subscriber of BarkBox supplies and will continue to be so for it is indeed the best dog subscription box in U.S.A and Canada. We love it and so does our fur child. The brave heart who reviews the products sent on BarkBox Super Chewer Box for you is our Golden Retriever, a 2-year-old hyper-boy. He is Shadow and he lives to CHEW!
He can never get tired of chewing and neither can we stop subscribing to Super Chewer BarkBox. The September edition was a total fun time at our home and here is a review of Super Chewer Box September for you.
A quick introduction for newbies to BarkBox: It is a dog subscription box that sends 4 to 6 products each month for your dog. They send dog treats, dog toys, dog chews, or grooming products. All the products sent are made either in the U.S.A or in Canada. BarkBox supplies only to these 2 countries.
You can customize your box to choose your dog’s needs. For instance, the Super Chewer Box by itself is for dogs who are ardent chewers. If you think your dog does not require this, you can settle for the regular BarkBox subscription. Also, you can select the box for your dog’s size. Here you have the options “Small but Mighty” (0 to 20 pounds), “Middle Weight” (20 to 50 pounds), and “Large and in Charge” (50 plus pounds).
The Super Chewer Box sums up to $39 per month. You can have this at a lesser charge if you go ahead with an annual subscription. You can also choose from plans for 6 months, change plans, stop plans anytime and so on.
Hey! Want some better news?
If the product they send fails before your dog’s teeth, you can let them know. BarkBox will replace it for free!
Back to the review now…
Shadow is a large guy so we subscribe for Super Chewer Large and In Charge. September’s BarkBox theme was ‘Back to School’ and it was adorable!
There was a cute admittance card to the Bark University. It also came with some funny course selections.
The first bag of treats Bocce’s Bakery Chicken Rewards. These small heart-shaped treats are soft and chewy. Chicken is the main ingredient and other locally sourced ingredients are also part of the contents. This treat pack is made in small batches and is made in the U.S.A. Shadow gulped these down in no time. Thus evident: They were delicious!
The second bag of treats in September Super Chewer BarkBox happened to be Shadow’s favorite. Brew Biscuits, also made in the U.S.A, made Shadow go wild with disobedience. He refused to obey any of the commands with just one bite from them. They are made with cheddar and spent grain and the secret ingredient is bacon flour. Our boy loves bacon so that explained the behavior. These were also small bone shaped bites which lasted just about few minutes.
The chew for the month was Sawmill Creek Smokehouse Spirit Stick Pork Chew. Thankfully Shadow likes pork so this also kept him entertained. It was big enough for a large sized dog to enjoy. It is free from additives, preservatives, and all fillers. This completely natural dog chew is also made in the U.S.A.
In the September Super Chewer BarkBox, the Happy Howies Beef Jerky Treats simply moved Shadow. He went silent and quiet, napping and chowing down with these quick chew snacks. The slow-cooked beef snack was just perfect for his taste buds. He looked up at us with eager eyes for more, but sadly, there were none to give.
The first toy that Shadow picked up was a chew like Large No. 2 Pencil. It is heavy and durable and really challenges a tough chewer’s patience. It is made with bacon and nylon and the ‘B’ word here is enough to drive our boy crazy. He still has it, to relish some time alone!
The second toy is perfect with the ‘Back to School’ theme again. It was a perfect Orbee-Tuff Football Toy that Shadow loves to play fetch with. It is also still quite intact since our dog saves it for game time.
