Hello dear dog parents,
It is great to be back with a BarkBox review. Although it has been quite a long time since Max and we showed up for review, it does not mean that BarkBox has been away from us. We continue to be loyal subscribers of the BarkBox dog subscription service and we are enjoying it! Here we have today BarkBox April 2018 Subscription for Small dogs review. Jump into it to know more.
For those who are new to BarkBox, here is some introduction that might help…
BarkBox is a monthly dog subscription box that ships to U.S and Canada. It is priced at $29 per month and $19 per month for an annual subscription. You can alter your subscription plan, cancel it or stop it anytime. Each month the subscription box shipped will contain dog treats, toys, dog grooming products, dog chews, etc. All the products sent in the box are made either in the U.S or Canada. BarkBox sends quality products alone that comes with a fair warning regarding allergies and complete description of the ingredients and contents in the pack.
The best part of BarkBox, you can customize your order based size of your dog. You can make the choices from ‘Small and Cute’ (0-20 pounds), ‘Just Right’ (20-50 pounds), and ‘Big and Bold’ (50+ pounds). This size preference allows you to receive treats and toys that will match your dog’s size and strength. If your energy bundle is a heavy chewer, you can specify that as well! For such persistent teeth, they have the exclusive BarkBox Super Chewer Boxes. They come as ‘Small but Mighty’ (0 to 20 pounds), ‘Middle Weight’ (20 to 50 pounds), and ‘Large and in Charge’ (50 plus pounds). This box type will send your pet the toys that challenge their teeth and time. Additionally, every month highlights a theme and all the goodies sent are centered on it. This idea is simply excited and cute (for us, more than the dogs I must say).
BarkBox April 2018 Subscription for Small Dogs
Our little guy is a 2-year-old Daschund. He loves to chew and is full of energy, and we love to pamper him with only the things that are good for his health and teeth. BarkBox has never failed us in our expectations so far and we trust them on the products they continue to send us.
The theme for the April 2018 BarkBox subscription box was ‘A Pirate Tail’. This was super cute and definitely suits a pirate dog! It came with great toys and treats and even a special pirate bandana for the dog! They had also mentioned on the information card that you can click a picture of your dog in the bandana and post it on social media using hashtag #BarkBoxDay.
Merv The Squirmaid King Plush Toy
The first toy that intrigued max was a pretty blue Merv The Squirmaid King Plush Toy. It has a crinkly tail, squeaker and the tail is perfect to tug it around. Max loved it!
Clam Overboard Plush Toy
This plush toy is unique and fun. The large clam has 2 separate pearl plushes that can be stuffed inside the clam. This multi-part toy is very entertaining and Max had a great time fetching the pearls.
Bark Beard’s Bandana
How cute is this bandana? Perfect to make your pup look like they are all set for a pirate adventure. The skulls print is too cute and fits a small perfectly.
Max is not an aggressive chewer, but who would say No to a tasty chew for some company. Right? The Backstrap Chew sent this month is high in protein and also helps to clean dog teeth and promote healthy chewing habits. It is highly digestible, 100% natural, free from additives, fillers, grains, chemicals, and byproducts. It is made from grass-fed cattle and made in the U.S.A. Not to forget the pirate theme on the package of the chew too!
Merpups Pearls Dog Treats
The pack of this treats has a mermaid picture and of the sea. These treats contain real chicken, pork, and cheese which were absolutely mouth-watering (even for a human I mean!). These again are grain-free, soft and chewy. Max loves to have this as a reward during his training sessions.
Captain Cheddar’s Gold Nuggets Chicken & Cheese Flavored Dog Treats
The second bag of treats also has a combination of chicken and cheese. These as well are wheat-free, soy-free, corn-free, grain-free. Max gets to have this along with his regular meals. He keeps looking for more, but sadly we tried to save up for later to prolong his tasty munching.
That is an end to the BarkBox April 2018 Subscription Box for Small dogs review. This month (like most of the months) every goody sent was a great hit at our house. Especially, the dog chew and treats. Max approves of them all and has been waiting for the next month already! Let us know how your pup enjoys BarkBox. If you haven’t subscribed to them as yet, do so!
