Hope you all have been doing well. Our home is ever filled with excitement and joy (and a lot of mess as well)! All thanks to the fur kid at home, who isn’t so much a kid anymore. We are back here with another interesting BarkBox review. Keep reading to know how the Super Chewer BarkBox Subscription May 2018 reviews for Large Dog, fared at our home.
For those of you who are new to BarkBox Subscription, here is a quick introduction to the best dog subscription box service…
It is a dog subscription box service that ships to U.S.A and Canada. They send 4 to 6 dog products each month in a box which would include dog treats, dog toys, dog accessories, grooming products, etc. BarkBox Subscription is priced at $29 per month and $19 per month for an annual subscription. You can alter your subscription plan, cancel it or stop it anytime. The best part of BarkBox is that you can customize your order based size of your dog. You can make the choices from ‘Small and Cute’ (0-20 pounds), ‘Just Right’ (20-50 pounds), and ‘Big and Bold’ (50+ pounds). This size preference allows you to receive treats and toys that will match your dog’s size and strength.
If you find that your dog is quite destructive and a heavy chewer, you might need toys and treats that are more challenging and durable. For dogs like these, you can choose to subscribe for the BarkBox Super Chewer Box. Here you have the options ‘Small but Mighty’ (0 to 20 pounds), ‘Middle Weight’ (20 to 50 pounds), and ‘Large and in Charge’ (50 plus pounds). Super Chewer box is $39 per month. The price will be lesser when you subscribe for an annual subscription. All the products sent via BarkBox are made in the U.S.A or Canada. The products also come with a fair warning of the contents and ingredients. If your dog has any specific allergies or sensitivities, it is advised to mention it to them beforehand. You are also allowed to seek a return or replacement of products sent; if you face any complaints.
BarkBox also has a very exciting theme each month. The goodies in BarkBox are all designed to match the theme. This makes the wait for the box to arrive exciting and interesting.
BarkBox Super Chewer May 2018 for Large Dog Review
The theme for this month was ‘Age of the Furaoh’. The toys and dog treat bags had the theme on them. How cute is that?
Blissful Biscuit PB & Bacon Sandwiches
This is the first pack we chose for Shadow to try. He loves anything and everything. Bacon is no exception. However the combination of bacon with peanut butter seemed a little weird to think of; but hey, my dog loved it! This dog treat is also free from wheat, corn, and soy, and that taste was a win.
The Treat Pyramid
Shadow went crazy for this. The proteins in this BarkBox dog treats were chicken, pork, and lamb. Who wouldn’t love that? This is also made in the U.S.A and free from wheat, corn, and soy. He just gobbled them down and didn’t give us a chance to save it longer.
Plato Pet Treats Thinkers in Salmon (2 counts)
Chews are Shadow’s all time favorite! The main ingredient here is salmon and he finished one of the chew immediately (while we struggled to keep the other one far from his reach and sniffs). The chews are free from wheat, corn, and soy. But they do mention that it has some amount of brown rice in it, which means it isn’t completely grain free.
Butcher’s Block Bones 6” Krunchie Tube
This cartilage chew is enriched with glucosamine and chondroitin, which are excellent, sources to keep your dog’s joint health well maintained. The chew is beef trachea and Shadow seemed to be fond of this too. We gave this to him after his outdoor playtime one day, so that he didn’t make a mess (of drools and stink) inside the home.
Mighty Mummy Ball
The first toy Shadow picked up was the Mummy ball. He didn’t notice the intended ‘mummy’ design. He just went in for it thinking it was a regular ball. The rubber is sturdy and has a squeaker inside. Overall, a simple design that serves the purpose.
Scared Stiff Scarab
This one was exciting! The toy’s rubber center with the nylon rope to pull on kept Shadow guessing how to handle this. This BarkBox toy definitely hit the Like button for our fur boy.
That’s the end of our May 2018 Super Chewer BarkBox review. It was a simple box this month, but still fun. Let us know about your BarkBox Dog Subscription review and more stories of fur kids. Until the next review, keep rolling!
