The January 2018 BarkBox for large dogs was themed Knights of the Hound Table. It was a fun theme to get toys that were so different and unique in their own way. The information card and packing cover had the theme of castles and dragons on theme.
Tavern Turkey Leg
The first toy that Shadow rushed to but unfortunately was tricked was the Tavern Turkey Leg. This turkey leg is durable and tests a chewer’s patience! Shadow loved chewing on this squeaker leg for hours together.
This is another fun toy. The King Arfur is a plush toy that makes noise from shaking rather than squeezing. Shadow liked tugging this one toy, but not as much as the turkey leg.
These delicious soft chews come in 2 great flavours that Shadow is always fond of. These chews have chicken and tuna as their main flavours and are free from wheat, soy and corn. He enjoyed them being mixed in his regular meals.
Friar Hogg’s Hearty Stew
We simply loved the packing of this one too which is in line with the theme. This treat has ham and veggies as the main flavours and Shadow pretty much looked forward to his training time to get hold of these. They are also free from wheat, corn and soy and are made in the U.S.
Plato Pet Treats – Salmon
Shadow never spares any chew and this one was no exception. This Salmon treat did not last long in our home. Shadow fancies fish recipes a lot and this deserved all his attention.
We have reached the end of our goodies in the BarkBox January 2018 dog subscription box for large dogs. All the products were a great hit with no misses. The toys are intact and will last quite a long time, but the treats won’t (because they are too tasty to avoid). We are looking forward to be back with another exciting review with a BarkBox and so is Shadow! See you all soon.
