Shadow is back with another exciting BarkBox review for June 2018 Super Chewer BarkBox for Large dogs. Those of you who have been regular readers here might be familiar with how much we (Shadow, I mean) adores BarkBox, the best dog subscription box service in U.S.A and Canada. We have been regular subscribers to the BarkBox service a few years now and we have not skipped ever since.
Our family completely approves of all the BarkBox dog products sent, and the service itself. Shadow, our almost 3-year-old Golden Retriever is a dedicated fanatic of BarkBox dog subscription box service. We are here to review the June 2018 BarkBox Super Chewer Box for Large Dogs. Before we jump into it, here is a small introduction on BarkBox for those who are new…
It is a dog subscription box service that ships to U.S.A and Canada. They send 4 to 6 dog products each month in a box which would include dog treats, dog toys, dog accessories, grooming products, etc. BarkBox Subscription is priced at $29 per box for one month, $25 per box with a 6-month subscription, and $21 per box with a 12-month subscription. You can alter your subscription plan, cancel it or stop it anytime. Each month the subscription box shipped will contain dog treats, toys, dog grooming products, dog chews, etc. All the products sent in the box are made either in the U.S or Canada. BarkBox sends quality products alone that comes with a fair warning regarding allergies and complete description of the ingredients and contents in the pack.
The best part of BarkBox, you can customize your order based size of your dog. You can make the choices from ‘Small and Cute’ (0-20 pounds), ‘Just Right’ (20-50 pounds), and ‘Big and Bold’ (50+ pounds). This size preference allows you to receive treats and toys that will match your dog’s size and strength. If your energy bundle is a heavy chewer, you can specify that as well! For such persistent teeth, they have the exclusive BarkBox Super Chewer Boxes. They come as ‘Small but Mighty’ (0 to 20 pounds), ‘Middle Weight’ (20 to 50 pounds), and ‘Large and in Charge’ (50 plus pounds). This box type will send your pet the toys that challenge their teeth and time. Super Chewer box is priced at $39 per month for a box, $34 per box for 6 months subscription and $29 per box for an annual subscription. Additionally, every month highlights a theme and all the goodies sent are centered on it.
All the products sent via BarkBox are made in the U.S.A or Canada. The products also come with a fair warning of the contents and ingredients. If your dog has any specific allergies or sensitivities, it is advised to mention it to them beforehand. You are also allowed to seek for a return or replacement of products sent; if you face any complaints.
BarkBox Super Chewer June 2018 for Large Dog Review
The theme for the June 2018 Super Chewer BarkBox was ‘Who’s Coming to Prom?’ The dog toys and dog treats package had significance to the theme. This month the information card came with a cute bow and corsage to fix on dog’s collar. You can click a snap of your dog with the props and hashtag the picture on their social media page. Fun, right?
Baaallroom Dance Treats
The first bag of treats that we picked up was the Baaallroom Dance Treats. The name caught our attention- ‘Ballroom’ and ‘Baaallroom’- A sheep says ‘Baaa’, and the treat contains lamb. Creativity! These treats are made in the U.S.A and contain real lamb and duck. Shadow loves anything and everything to eat (we can’t seem to change him…sob…sob…). Anyway, these treats are super healthy with the protein that is safe for dogs even with sensitivities It is free from wheat, soy and corn and Shadow had a tough fight with us to gobble down everything. He lost; we added few of the treats to his meals to extend its shelf life at home.
Piggin’ Out Pizza Treats
We are guessing that Shadow loved these treats the best. It has a double delight on pig meat- pork, bacon and cheese dog treats. Also made in the U.S.A and free from wheat, corn, and soy. The package has an image of dogs at prom relishing pizza. Well, whether proms have pizza or not, Shadow seems to care less as long as his tongue and tummy are happy.
Etta Says! Crunchy Pork + Apple Chew Bar
Which fur baby will not enjoy 100% natural, crunchy premium chew bar? This contains apple and pork rawhide. If your dog has a sensitivity to rawhide you must keep a watch. Our boy has no such complaints and he totally loved this. Sad it did not last for long (must have been too yummy to spare!).
Etta Says! 7” Deluxe Lamb Chew
The second chew in the box was a Deluxe Lamb Chew. This is grain free and very high in proteins. Shadow got to enjoy this one a few days later and he loved it, which was not surprising.
Super Fetch Limo
The toys for this month were very different. The first toy, Super Fetch Limo, is very apt for the prom theme. This limo is made from a soft-textured rubber material. It is dishwasher safe and has some hollows and depressions in it. Here you can squeeze in some treats or spread some peanut butter or any twists to fetch you think your dog might enjoy. This was probably Shadow’s favorite toy of this month, purely for the reason his tongue was happy to lick off peanut butter and small treats.
Royally Ruff Prom Crown
This toy took a lot of work to figure out. Shadow simply used it to sit and chew on. There is a spiky squeaky ball inside a red plush-type covering, and this is then shoved into the yellow crown. Our boy was too lazy to spend his mind working around it; he simply chose to use the whole crown as a fetch toy instead.
That’s the end to the June 2018 Super Chewer BarkBox review for large dogs. Our home and our dog most importantly were totally satisfied with the excellent quality treats and toys sent. Looking forward to next month already! Share with us your experience with BarkBox without fail.
