We are glad to step in for our very first BarkBox Dog Subscription Box review. Being proud dog parents to Rhyme, our 4-year-old Labrador has been a wonderful journey. He is full of energy, full of love, and full of charm. Here we have a BarkBox review for you. Hope you will enjoy our September 2018 BarkBox for Large dogs Review.
BarkBox Dog Subscription Box isn’t new to us. We have certainly heard about it, but have never tried it. And that, we regret much. But not anymore, being BarkBox subscribers is the best gift to our dog. Without a doubt, it is the best decision and we hope you will also recommend BarkBox dog subscription box service to others as well.
An Introduction to BarkBox Dog Subscription Box
It is a dog subscription box service that ships to U.S.A and Canada. They send 4 to 6 dog products each month in a box which would include dog treats, dog toys, dog accessories, grooming products, etc. BarkBox Subscription is priced at $29 per box for one month, $25 per box with a 6-month subscription, and $21 per box with a 12-month subscription. You can alter your subscription plan, cancel it or stop it anytime. The best part of BarkBox is that you can customize your order based size of your dog. You can make the choices from ‘Small and Cute’ (0-20 pounds), ‘Just Right’ (20-50 pounds), and ‘Big and Bold’ (50+ pounds). This size preference allows you to receive treats and toys that will match your dog’s size and strength.
If you find that your dog is quite destructive and a heavy chewer, you might need toys and treats that are more challenging and durable. For dogs like these, you can choose to subscribe to the BarkBox Super Chewer Box. Here you have the options ‘Small but Mighty’ (0 to 20 pounds), ‘Middle Weight’ (20 to 50 pounds), and ‘Large and in Charge’ (50 plus pounds). Super Chewer box is priced at $39 per month for a box, $34 per box for 6 months subscription and $29 per box for an annual subscription. The price will be lesser when you subscribe for an annual subscription. All the products sent via BarkBox are made in the U.S.A or Canada. The products also come with a fair warning of the contents and ingredients. If your dog has any specific allergies or sensitivities, it is advised to mention it to them beforehand. You are also allowed to seek for a return or replacement of products sent; if you face any complaints.
BarkBox also has a very exciting theme each month. The goodies in BarkBox are all designed to match the theme. This makes the wait for the box to arrive exciting and interesting.
BarkBox September 2018 Subscription Box Review for Large Dog
All the products we received this month were related to ‘Bark Slope Street Fair’. Rhyme being new to this, like us, he went crazy over it. The information card with the theme was simply adorable.
Max’s Maine Lobster Roll
The squeaky lobster toy did spike up Rhyme’s curiosity since it is nothing like any toy he has seen before. He did tug it around a bit and sat down, still wondering what it was. The toy is soft, easy to handle and is durable. That is if your dog is not an avid chewer.
Lickton Iced Tea
The stuffed iced tea toy is again just perfect as a fetch toy or even as a simple comfort cuddler. This plush toy will also last longer if your dog is not rough with the teeth power.
Plato Pet Treats Thinkers Salmon Recipe
We must admit that Rhyme is a blessing and so is his tummy. He is a big lover of food, no matter what it is. This salmon chew made him elated and happy. He did the honors of devouring it as quickly as possible. If your dog is allergic to salmon or any type of meat, you must mention it to BarkBox service and be cautious of the ingredients as well.
Fresh Fair Treats
Gyro and Lamb delicacy as soft chewy treats. Which dog would not like it? Rhyme thoroughly enjoyed these and kept whining for more. We used these as additional treats along with his meals. The treats are sourced and made in the U.S.A and just perfect in aroma, taste, and texture.
Fresh Fair Treats
The next bag of treats had the mind-blowing combo of Chicken and Fish Taco. Need I say more? Rhyme started to convince us for more of his training sessions, just to fill his tummy with these. Sourced and made in the U.S.A., these treats are also a hit.
2 plush toys, 2 bags of treats and 1 chew- a whole pack of deliciousness for a price worth paying. BarkBox Monthly Dog Subscription Box has blown us away. We hope it will do the same to you too. Try it and let us know how it fared at your home.
